Henry Deakin, part of the seventh generation to own and manage Deakin & Francis, was honoured to become a Freeman of The Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths this month.
The Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths, or The Goldsmith’s Company, is one of the great livery companies of the City of London. Originally started to regulate the practices and trade of goldsmiths, it still remains a highly influential institution to this day.
Although he is only at the beginning of his journey with The Goldsmith’s company, Henry hopes to progress further within the company in the future.
